Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you create an account, place an order, or contact us, we collect information such as your full name, email address, mobile phone number, service and delivery address(es), account password, order details and laundry preferences or instructions, and any messages or feedback you send us.

Payment information. When you add a payment method or pay for the Service, your payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Laundr does not store your full payment card number; we retain limited information such as a payment token and the card brand and last four digits to identify your payment method.

Records of your garments. As described in our Terms of Service, we may keep records of the garments you send us, which may include images or photographs, and associate them with your account for inventory, quality control, loss prevention, and related purposes.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information, including your device Internet Protocol (IP) address, device identifiers, device name and type, operating system version, browser type, the configuration of the app, the pages or screens you view, the dates and times of your use, and other usage and diagnostic data (“Log Data”). We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies as described below.

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small data files stored on your device. We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, operate and secure the Service, and understand how the Service is used. We use Google Analytics to help us measure and analyze traffic and usage; Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects information such as your IP address and usage activity. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you refuse cookies, some portions of the Service may not function properly.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including scheduling pickups and deliveries;

• Process your orders and payments and send you receipts;

• Send you transactional and service messages by email and SMS, such as order status and account notices;

• Provide customer support and respond to your requests;

• Send you marketing and promotional communications, from which you can opt out at any time;

• Understand and improve the Service, and develop new features;

• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security issues, and technical problems; and

• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only as described in this Privacy Policy, including with the following categories of recipients:

Service providers. We share information with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, and who are obligated to use it only to provide those services to us. These include, among others:

• Stripe — payment processing.

• Twilio — sending SMS text messages and phone verification.

• Brevo — sending transactional and marketing email.

• Google Analytics — usage analytics and measurement.

• Google Maps — address, mapping, and location features.

Delivery contractors. We share the information needed to complete your order (such as your name, address, phone number, and order details) with the independent Third Party Contractors who pick up and deliver your laundry.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or valid legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Business transfers. If Laundr is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

SMS and Text Messaging

By creating an account and providing your mobile number, you agree that we may send you informational and service-related text (SMS) messages as part of the normal operation of the Service, including phone verification and order updates. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or by emailing support@laundr.io. Opting out of SMS may affect your ability to use certain parts of the Service.

Marketing Communications

We may send you marketing and promotional emails about the Service. You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at support@laundr.io. Even if you opt out of marketing messages, we may still send you non-promotional messages about your account and orders.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter for the period necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements. As described in our Terms of Service, we may retain records of your garments (including images) for commercially reasonable periods for inventory, quality control, and loss-prevention purposes.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your Choices and Rights

You can review and update your account information at any time by signing into your account. You may also request to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask us to delete your account, by contacting us at support@laundr.io. We will respond to your request consistent with applicable law. Please note that we may need to retain certain information as required or permitted by law, or to complete transactions you began before your request.

Links to Other Sites

The Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and in particular we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@laundr.io.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated policy on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Changes are effective when posted, and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
